We Have 4 Aims

Conserve & Enhance Biodiversity
Offer Educational Opportunities
Community Involvement & Engagement
Provide Recreational Activities

To enable us to achieve this we are reliant on funding from grants and donations.

Membership is free and doesn’t require any volunteering commitment – although we would love to have you share your skills and time with us if you would like to do so.

As a volunteer group we’re entirely dependent on enthusiastic people and we’d love to have more people come and join us, you could join us on a task day, come along to one of our community events, help organise a community event, support us with fundraising.

There are many ways to get involved, feel free to contact us and suggest your own idea of how you can help.

Volunteer Task Days

We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10.30am-13.30pm. There is no need to book in advance, simply meet us at the car park on Marina Drive. If you’re a gardener, a DIY-er, a nature-lover or just enjoy the outdoors and fancy helping out then joining the task days are for you.

Activities are quite varied depending on the time of year and can range from scrub clearance, litter picking, hedge laying, mulching, putting up bird boxes and much more. No experience is required you can choose how much you would like to do and how long you can stay, tasks are suited to all abilities.

We provide equipment and training and just ask that you bring your own gloves and wear suitable clothing and footwear. It's a great way to meet new people and find out more about the area.

Keep up to date with our events on Facebook and our events page.
